This funnel trap uses a yellow canopy and species-specific pheromone lure to draw in adult moths, which fall through the funnel into a polythene collection bag lined with electrostatic powder that stops their wings from flying once trapped. It's built for mass trapping and monitoring of major Lepidoptera pests -- fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda), tobacco caterpillar (S. litura), yellow stem borer (Scirpophaga incertulas), brinjal shoot & fruit borer (Leucinodes orbonalis), pink bollworm (Pectinophora gossypiella) and cotton bollworm (Helicoverpa armigera) -- across field crops including cotton, rice, maize, chickpea, groundnut, soybean, tomato, brinjal, okra and more.
