How It Works

The bowl is connected to a suitable water-supply line. When the animal presses the nose plate while drinking, the mechanism opens the water flow and allows fresh water to enter the bowl.

When the animal releases the plate, the water flow stops. This provides water according to the animal's drinking activity instead of continuously maintaining a completely full open trough.
