The KSNM Cono Weeder is a low-cost, chemical-free way to control weeds in wetland paddy fields. Its rotating cone rollers uproot weeds and bury them in the mud as you push the weeder back and forth between rows, aerating the soil and encouraging stronger root development along the way — all without herbicides.

For best results, start weeding within 20 days of sowing, when weeds are still small and easiest to remove. A second pass around 15 days later is recommended, and a third or even fourth weeding before flowering can further boost yield by keeping the field clear and well-aerated. Weeding works best when there's standing water in the field.
