The Maxplus dome trap is a reusable fruit fly trap with a yellow base and clear dome top, shaped and textured to maximise catch rate. Used with a species-matched lure (Fruit Fly Lure or Melon Fly Lure), it monitors and mass-traps four major Bactrocera fruit fly species across fruit and vegetable crops -- gherkins, cucumber, pumpkin, muskmelon, watermelon, bottle/bitter/sweet/snake/ridge/pointed/sponge gourd, mango, guava, sapota, citrus, banana and papaya.
